The producers of “Ramadan America” — the first-of-its-kind film anthology written by, directed by and starring American Muslims — are seeking participants for an interview-style, on-camera shoot in Los Angeles to help promote the film. Those chosen to participate in the shoot will be paid. You can apply to the open call here.

As part of the role, participants will be asked a series of questions about how they celebrate Ramadan and Eid in North America. These segments will be unscripted and will take around 30 minutes. The segments may be used on-screen in the film or in promotional and marketing materials for the film.

Chosen applicants will receive $75 for their participation after filming has concluded. Filming will take place in West Hollywood, Los, Angeles, on February 3 and 4, 2024. The producers will reach out to chosen participants to confirm timing and logistics once they have been selected.

Applicants may apply individually or as a group of no more than two. Applicants who are under 18 must be accompanied by an adult.

Those interested in applying for this opportunity should fill in the form at the link below. If selected, producers will reach out with next steps.
