The Oscar-qualified short film “Eid Mubarak” (2023), directed by Pakistani American filmmaker Mahnoor Euceph, has secured several distribution deals in the wake of its recent festival success. The short film is now streaming on both YouTube and the library streaming service Kanopy in select territories.

“Eid Mubarak” follows a privileged 6-year-old Pakistani girl named Iman as she embarks on a mission to save her beloved pet goat from being eaten on Eid al-Azha. With the help of her friends and family, Iman is able to learn the meaning of sacrifice and the reason behind the holiday.

Since premiering earlier this year at the 18th Annual Children's Film Festival of Seattle, “Eid Mubarak” has reached acclaim on the festival circuit. The film has played at over 40 film festivals, including CAAMFest, SXSW Sydney and the New York International Children’s Film Festival.
