Recommended for ages 10-13, topics cover menstruation, of course, but also identity, belonging, grief, family and friendships. Pakistani American author Saadia Faruqi, of the Yasmin and Marya Khan book series, is one contributor. Faruqi is also the editor-in-chief of Blue Minaret, a literary journal dedicated to Muslim writers and artists.
